Ron Darling is a former Major League Baseball pitcher best known for playing with the New York Mets from 1983–1991. A key member of the Mets' 1986 World Series championship team, he was known for his intelligent approach to pitching and excellent control. After retiring, he became a respected baseball analyst and broadcaster.

Today, Darling is passionate about using baseball to connect with his son and believes the game teaches invaluable life lessons.

Lessons he hopes to pass on not only to his own family, but to young athletes everywhere.
